ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

The just transition towards sustainable development models is currently one of the main challenges at a global level. Moving towards these new models requires a multidisciplinary approach where scientific knowledge is articulated with the particularities, needs and opportunities of each territory.

This program seeks to provide theoretical and practical tools for the definition and management of regional and local environmental public policies. At the same time, it hopes to promote the incorporation of the environmental dimension as a decisive factor for development, generating capacities for its mainstreaming in provincial public policies outside of environmental portfolios.

  • To provide key environmental concepts for the management of common goods.
  • To recognize the main environmental management tools and their application.
  • Strengthen the capacities of officials from different areas to mainstream the dimensions of sustainable development in their work agendas.
  • To promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences between participants from different regions and specialties.
