ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA
A fair transition to sustainable development is one of today’s biggest global challenges.
The CFI the development body of Argentina’s provinces, works with a multidisciplinary approach: turning scientific knowledge into practical actions adapted to each region’s needs and opportunities.
This program gives theoretical and practical tools to design and manage environmental public policies at regional and local levels. It also promotes the idea that the environment should be a key factor for development, helping to include it in all government areas, not only environmental agencies.

- Strengthen the skills of public officials so they can add sustainability to their work agendas.
- Create spaces to exchange knowledge and experiences between participants from different regions and fields.
Provincial public officials from different areas —planning, public works, energy, agriculture, industry, transport, education, environment, and more— who want to integrate the environmental perspective.

Biophysical Limits and Common Goods / Environmental Law / Environmental Education and Citizen Participation / Environmental Land Use Planning / Biodiversity / Agroecosystems / Water Resources / Circular Economy / Integrated Solid Waste Management / Climate Change Management / Energy Transition / International Agenda and Sustainable Finance / Environmental and Ecological Economics / Environmental Assessment. The program also includes 3 specific thematic modules: Sustainable Food Production; Energy, Industry and Circular Economy; Infrastructure and Urban Environmental Management.
To achieve regular standing, participants must attend at least 75% of classes and complete all proposed activities. Participation in at least two of the three in-person sessions is also mandatory.
To obtain the Diploma, participants must prepare and submit a Final Project consisting of a public policy proposal implementing the knowledge and tools acquired throughout the course.
