TOURISM MANAGEMENT
Tourism is a key driver of economic and social development in Argentina. There is currently a growing opportunity to develop public policies aimed at designing management models based on Smart Tourism Destinations.
In this context, CFI's Federal School of Development is opening applications for the Diploma in Tourism Management, a program that positions tourism as a vector of territorial development, integrating technological innovation, international cooperation, and coordination with productive sectors.
Smart Tourism Destination management tools seek to transform a traditional destination into an innovative one, with cutting-edge technological infrastructure, accessibility, greater visitor interaction with the environment, improved experience quality, sustainable development, and an enhanced quality of life for the local community.
Strengthening tourism generates economic impact, employment, and productive diversification by coordinating the value chain with activities such as agriculture, viticulture, beekeeping, and gastronomy. It also allows for an expanded tourism offering, contributes to seasonality reduction, adds value, promotes local employment, and preserves the rural environment and its traditions.
- Provide innovative content and management tools that enable participants to develop evidence-based policies for the sustainable development of the tourism sector.
- Raise awareness of the Smart Tourism Destinations (STD) management model through theoretical and practical tools.
- Strengthen technical capacities related to the generation and analysis of tourism statistics.
