TOURISM MANAGEMENT

"Training in tourism management provides theoretical and practical tools to officials, technical teams and representatives of the provincial tourism areas to advance in the formulation, presentation and evaluation of projects that contribute to the sustainable development of tourism activity in our country.

The program aims to raise awareness about the Smart Tourist Destinations (DTI) model, contemplating the interaction with other productive sectors and contributing to providing innovative solutions to the specific challenges and opportunities of each region.

  • To train provincial government officials so that they can open new markets in relation to their work areas.
  • To offer tools for the incorporation of new technologies in projects developed within the field of tourism.
  • To generate links that allow the construction of a federal network of tourism managers in the public sector.

Provincial officials in the area of tourism or related activities. Participants must have a university or tertiary degree, specialization courses or public management experience in the sector.

Management model for Smart Tourist Destinations / Governance – Sustainability - Technology - Innovation - Accessibility / Tourism and productive systems / Rural, gastronomic and wine tourism / Financing / Tourist experiences

Participants must present a final project grouped by province, whose goal will be to apply the knowledge acquired in the program to solve a problem and design specific courses of action through a public policy project. The final project will be evaluated by the program team.

To approve the program, 100% attendance must be met by each provincial group in the master classes.

Individually, each participant must also complete 75% attendance at the workshops and satisfactorily complete the challenges posed in the design and formulation of the public policy project.

Attendance and participation in the activities proposed in the two in-person federal integration days is also required.
