TOURISM MANAGEMENT
The CFI opens the call for applications to the third edition of the Tourism Management Program, aimed at provincial officials working in tourism or related areas.
Based on the CFI’s experience with provincial governments and the needs identified in tourism markets, there is a growing opportunity to develop public policies focused on management models based on Smart Tourist Destinations (DTI).
The program takes a comprehensive approach through lectures and workshops on the design and evaluation of public policies, addressing the opportunities and challenges of this key sector for the development of Argentina’s provinces.
- Provide innovative content and management tools to help participants design public policies for the sustainable development of the tourism sector.
- Raise awareness about the Smart Tourist Destination (DTI) management model through theoretical and practical tools.
- Promote tourism development in connection with other productive sectors.
- Build a network of provincial officials and public-sector workers in tourism to encourage exchanges and joint work.

Applicants must hold a university or tertiary degree, have completed specialization courses in tourism, or demonstrate proven public management experience in the sector.

- Workshops (online)
- Federal Integration Sessions (in-person)
Each provincial group must attend 100% of the lectures.
Each participant must individually attend at least 50% of the online classes and 75% of the workshops.
Participants must also successfully complete the challenges involved in designing and formulating a public policy project.
Attendance and participation in the two in-person Federal Integration Sessions are also required.
