INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT OF WATER RESOURCES
The training program in Integrated Water Resources Management is aimed at technical staff from provincial organizations with direct competence in the management of water resources to promote more efficient, equitable and sustainable use of water.
Argentina is a country of large territorial extension with an unequal distribution of water resources. To address the complex scenarios that arise in the present, and in the future, as a result of climate change and the change in land use, it is essential to promote the coordinated management of resources, prioritizing the environmental, social and economic sustainability of each of the activities.
- To provide tools for the integrated management of water resources, prioritizing the environmental, social and economic sustainability of each of the activities.
- To promote the transfer of knowledge based on the necessary generation of alliances between public organizations, academia, the private sector and international experts.
- To strengthen the construction of a community of professionals that works in a network, beyond the provincial realities and the disciplinary fields of each participant.

Participants must complete a final project whose general purpose is the application of the knowledge acquired in the resolution of a problem or the design of specific courses of action. The final work is evaluated by an academic committee.
To pass the program, it is a requirement to meet 75% attendance at virtual and in-person meetings and present the final project.
