Supplier Development

The Supplier Development Program of the Federal Investment Council (CFI) promotes the strengthening of value chains across Argentina’s provinces by fostering competitiveness and productive development through cooperation between Anchor Firms and SME suppliers.

Through this initiative, we boost cooperation among large companies, SMEs, and technical organizations, promoting joint diagnostics and collaborative strategies aimed at improving productive performance.

The Program combines technical and financial tools with a federal perspective:

CFI Credit Lines



Financing to increase productive capacity, improve quality, and incorporate technology, including the acquisition of capital goods, civil works, and certifications, among others.

Working Capital Financing


Receivables discounting through the capital market.





Guarantees



Sureties facilitating access to credit in order to finance strategic projects.




Technical Assistance



Technical support to improve processes and obtain certifications, among other things, and foster collaboration with technical institutions and local strategic partners.

  • Prioritization: Identification of strategic value chains in coordination with the provinces.
  • Diagnosis: Definition of a problem or opportunity for improvement jointly with the anchor company and its network of suppliers.
  • Design: Preparation of the work plan and selection of the necessary technical assistance and financing instruments.
  • Formalization: Formal commitment by the anchor company.
  • Implementation: Execution of the work plan together with the anchor company and its suppliers.
