Programa de Becas Master CFI – Fulbright – Estados Unidos 2027-2028

The CFI and the provincial governments, in collaboration with the Fulbright Argentina Commission, are implementing a scholarship program for master’s degree studies of up to two years in the United States, focused on the academic cycle beginning in August 2027.
- Promote the education and training of young professionals from Argentina’s provinces at U.S. universities through master’s degree programs of up to two years in areas that are strategic for development.
- Strengthen technical and professional capabilities in fields that are strategic for federal development.
- Ensure territorial impact by promoting the application of acquired knowledge in projects and initiatives that foster local development in Argentina’s provinces.
- Promote public leadership by training young professionals with a vocation for public service and the ability to contribute to democratic governance.
Young people from Argentina’s provinces seeking to deepen their knowledge in order to apply what they learn to initiatives that promote local development, in strategic fields of study such as:
- Technological innovation applied to key productive sectors
- Freight transport and logistics systems
- Renewable energies
- Environment and sustainable development
- Water resources management
- Government management
- Organizational management
- International relations and foreign trade
- Cultural and creative industries
- Tourism management
- Argentine citizenship
- Residence in an Argentine province
- University or non-university higher education degree (minimum duration of 4 years)
- Minimum GPA of 7/10 (including failed courses)
- Excellent command of English (official certificate required)
- Updated résumé (in English)
- Statement of purpose outlining the academic and professional reasons for applying for this scholarship program (in English)
- Letter(s) of reference/recommendation (academic and/or professional)
- Copy of undergraduate degree and academic transcript (or proof that issuance is in process)
- Copy of graduate degree (if applicable)
- English-language certificate
- Certificate issued by the Federal Development School (desirable but not required)
- Scholarship regulations signed on the relevant page (mandatory)
The scholarship includes round-trip airfare, a monthly living stipend (partial or full), emergency health coverage, and guidance throughout the university admissions process and the search for partial or full financial aid for tuition and fees at U.S. universities.
- Selection of candidates: Applications will be reviewed by an Evaluation Committee composed of the Fulbright Argentina Commission and specialists in the relevant fields of study. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee. The interview will assess, among other aspects, the ability to communicate in English.
- Admission to Universities in the United States: Candidates selected after the interview stage must apply to the master’s programs of their interest in accordance with the process and academic calendar of the U.S. university system. The Fulbright Commission team will provide guidance during this stage.
- Scholarship Award: Applicants admitted to universities and meeting all requirements to pursue their master’s degrees will receive the Fulbright–CFI scholarship.
- Excellent English-language performance during the personal interview conducted by the Evaluation Committee
- Selection of a master’s program related to one of the strategic academic fields prioritized by the CFI and the applicant’s province of origin or professional activity
- Outstanding academic and professional performance and a well-founded interest in pursuing graduate studies in the United States
- Experience in public administration and/or a strong vocation for public service
- Technical knowledge relevant to local development and a commitment to work professionally in the applicant’s home province upon returning to Argentina
- Professional and/or academic references
- Graduation from a Federal Development School program (desirable but not required)
- Applicants must not have previously received a Fulbright scholarship or resided in the United States for extended periods
- Call for applications date: Friday, January 30, 2026
- Information session: Thursday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m.
- Application deadline: Wednesday, March 25, 2026
- Evaluation and shortlisting: From Thursday, March 26 to Monday, May 4
- Notification of shortlisted candidates: Week of May 11
- Personal interviews: Week of May 18
- Announcement of selected candidates: Week of June 22 (via email)
