Rural Road Management and Maintenance Course

The course aims to strengthen local capabilities and design concrete strategies and solutions for rural roads, addressing the specific challenges of each locality.



Officials in charge of planning, maintaining, or monitoring works on the rural road network
  • Provincial, municipal, or district officials in charge of public works or production
  • Officials from Provincial Road Directorates responsible for planning and drafting road plans
  • Members of road consortia or cooperatives engaged in rural road maintenance

Virtual, with six asynchronous classes and one synchronous exchange workshop.

The course will end with an in-person closing session.

Each district must submit a final project outlining a masterplan, including proposals for management improvements, spatial surveys, and tasks to be performed.
