DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT

In a constantly changing context, training future political leaders is key to building a fairer, more inclusive, and more united country. Equally important is understanding the challenges of each territory to design public policies that provide local responses to global problems. The role of the State, in collaboration with civil society actors, is essential to drive an integral development process through innovative policies and projects.

With this vision, the CFI and provincial governments run the Federal Training Program “Management for Development” within the framework of the Federal School of Development. This initiative offers young people with leadership potential innovative tools to design public policy projects, based on successful experiences in management, innovation, and the development of strategic productive sectors in regional economies.

The Program, first launched in 2021, has already held 5 editions, with more than 1,500 graduates and over 200 projects presented as part of the training process. Graduates come from 22 provinces, giving the program a unique federal perspective in Argentina. In 2025, the Program aims to train more than 400 young people across the country.

  • Provide updated perspectives and modern management tools to help participants design innovative public policy projects that give concrete answers to current challenges in their provinces.
  • Develop a learning process that strengthens both collective and individual efforts, respects diversity, and promotes integration, cross-cutting approaches, and collaborative work.
  • Offer tools to recognize economic, social, and productive challenges at the federal level, and to identify solutions and opportunities for development with territorial roots.
  • Build connections to create a federal community of leaders capable of designing and implementing public policies and innovative projects that contribute to social development in each province and in the country as a whole.

Young professionals interested in exchanging successful experiences in public policy management, innovation, and economic development. Candidates may come from provincial or municipal governments, companies, universities, NGOs, sectoral organizations, unions, political or social organizations, preferably with decision-making responsibilities. Applicants must be between 21 and 35 years old and have completed or be pursuing higher education or university studies.
