Fulbright–CFI postgraduate scholarships

Together with Fulbright Argentina, the CFI inaugurated a scholarship program to finance postgraduate studies in the United States for young graduates from the agency’s member provinces.
The goal is that, after completing a master’s degree or doctorate in US institutions, they return to the country to apply the acquired knowledge in activities and projects that promote development. This initiative is all about strengthening the network between the CFI, the provincial governments and the new generations of university graduates.
The Fulbright Program, endorsed by the United States government with the support of more than 160 countries—including Argentina, through the Ministry of Education—and private companies, was created 75 years ago and is one of the most prestigious in the world.
The CFI will finance postgraduate scholarships in the United States for 24 young graduates. In just one month, 69 applications were received and it was decided to finance at least one scholarship per province. The academic profile of each person, their motivation letters and the reason for studying in the United States were reviewed.
The postgraduate major must be linked to strategic and priority academic fields for the CFI and the province of origin, emphasizing technological innovation in productive sectors, transport systems and freight logistics, renewable energy, environment and sustainable development, water resources management, government management, foreign trade and international relations.
The agreement provides for the commitment to finance postgraduate scholarships, initially for one year, including travel and accommodation costs, extendable to two years depending on the scholar's academic performance.
