The Federal Council of Investments (CFI) has been incorporated as an Affiliate Member of UN Tourism
The Federal Council of Investments (CFI) has been incorporated as an Affiliate Member of UN Tourism, opening up new opportunities for the development, promotion, and management of tourism in Argentina’s provinces, while also strengthening international cooperation ties.
UN Tourism brings together 160 Member States and more than 500 Affiliate Members from around the world. This global network, made up of public institutions, third-sector organizations, and private-sector actors, now includes the CFI. Through this participation, the CFI gains access to strategic information, tools, and programs developed at the global and regional levels, which can be key to strengthening tourism in Argentina’s provinces.
For the CFI, as an organization that coordinates and supports tourism promotion policies across Argentina’s provinces, this incorporation represents a valuable opportunity to connect provincial tourism departments with international organizations working toward sustainable sector development.
In addition to joining a global network, the CFI will gain access to up-to-date tourism data, statistical reports, the World Tourism Barometer, and platforms such as the Tourism Data Dashboard, which provides key information in real time. This affiliation also opens doors to cooperation and funding programs, particularly in areas such as Smart Tourism Destinations (STDs), one of the main focuses of the CFI’s Tourism Management Training Program.
The CFI’s incorporation as an Affiliate Member of UN Tourism will enable access to key resources and information to better understand global tourism trends and, above all, to link them with the needs and potential of each province.
