Assessment and proposals to strengthen gold and silver logistics
As part of the Federal Logistics Strategy promoted by the CFI, a comprehensive analysis of the gold and silver chain in Argentina was presented. These metals account for more than 80% of the country's mining exports.
Based on fieldwork in key provinces such as Santa Cruz, San Juan, Salta, and Jujuy, the study identifies the main bottlenecks in mountain road infrastructure, rail connectivity, energy supply, and border crossings. It also outlines a portfolio of essential works and operational improvements to reduce logistics costs and sustain the sector's productive competitiveness through 2035.
