CFI and Provinces Make Headway on Roadmap for Tourism Sector
The activity focused on the transformations taking place in tourism, driven by technological advances and changes in consumer habits. Against this backdrop, the focus was placed on the need to reduce regional disparities and strengthen provincial economies through a federal approach based on consensus.
The work was based on four strategic pillars: sustainable planning, connectivity, innovation through information systems, and project financing. Provincial authorities shared assessments and experiences with the aim of adapting management tools to new social and demographic demands.
As a result, common guidelines were agreed upon to consolidate participatory planning and make progress on initiatives that can turn Argentina’s tourism potential into concrete opportunities for economic development and job creation.
