As part of the Federal Logistics Strategy, the first Forestry Logistics Meeting was held as a forum for dialogue among the key players in the sector's logistics ecosystem. Participants included the governments of Buenos Aires, Chaco, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Misiones, and Santa Fe, as well as representatives from forestry production and transport.

During the meeting, the main lines of work of the Federal Logistics Strategy were reviewed, and key provincial projects to improve forestry logistics were presented. Participants also described the most significant challenges affecting production and cargo transport in the sector, and proposed joint actions and projects to improve the competitiveness of the logistics chain.

Topics included an analysis of each province's current situation and logistics challenges; transport infrastructure (roads, railways, and ports); the adoption of innovative technologies and practices; sustainability and forest management; logistics cost reduction; and public-private collaboration to improve the efficiency of the forestry logistics chain. The importance of infrastructure investment and regulatory simplification was also discussed as a way to optimize the sector's logistics by reducing time and costs along the chain.
