Innova CFI’s First Call for Applications Concludes

The innovation investment fund for Argentina’s provinces completed the project submission stage, receiving more than 300 science- and technology-based initiatives from 11 provinces across the country.
The call was aimed at startups in the early stages of development (pre-seed and seed) that seek to transform locally generated knowledge into solutions applicable to regional and global economies. The strong response from the entrepreneurial ecosystem was reflected in the diversity and specialized nature of submitted projects.
The proposals focused on strategic sectors for productive development. Key categories included developments in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, aerospace engineering, and technologies applied to agriculture, healthcare, food, environmental protection, and the development of new materials.
Once this stage concludes, projects that have submitted all required documentation will undergo an eligibility assessment. Eligible companies will be notified and proceed to the next stage, involving due diligence and an in-depth evaluation.
When this process is complete, the beneficiaries of Innova CFI’s contingent debt financing will be selected. This flexible financing model is designed to support the growth of technology startups across the country.
