Logistics strategy to boost Argentina's copper industry
As part of the Federal Logistics Strategy, the CFI prepared a comprehensive study of the copper chain in Argentina to support the productive development of world-class deposits located mainly in San Juan, Salta, and Catamarca.
The report identifies the main infrastructure challenges and proposes priority interventions in mountain roads, railway branch lines, border crossings, and energy supply. The goal is to optimize overland transport costs, create efficient export routes to Atlantic and Pacific ports, and strengthen the export competitiveness of the producing provinces.
